The “Peony Vase” is an examination of time-based glassblowing. It is crafted through a handmade blow pipe with excess holes. Glass is gathered through a casting-into-blowing process, and the form is then born according to its own will. This iteration featured an encased peony flower and was fitted specifically to the peony’s stem. The mounting piece is then formed to fit the vase.
